About Us

Amy Nieman, MBA, CPA, ABV

Amy serves as the accounting lead for H&N Systems. Amy has worked in public accounting as well as internally in US publicly traded firms over 10 years. Her experience spans technical, operational and statutory fields.

Amy’s most recent experience is at an international data security software and hardware company where she was EMEA Regional Controller based in Zurich, Switzerland responsible of all accounting reporting and operations for the region.  Amy also served a key role in the global ERP implementation. Prior to this, she worked for Groupon Inc, serving in technical accounting, SEC reporting and controllership positions. Amy began her experience at Groupon working on the Iniial Public Offering and continued through an ERP implementation, the implementation of a new principle tax structure, a global restructuring and many other projects. Prior to this, Amy was at Deloitte LLP in the external, public assurance practice specializing in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Amy completed her education at Indiana University, Bloomington, earning her Bachelor of Science in Business in 2008 and her Masters of Business Administration in 2009.

Jesper Hallager, MBA

Jesper serves as the financial systems lead for H&N Systems. He has been working in accounting and systems positions for 10 years. His most recent position was at an international data security company as project manager within IT where his main responsibility was to ensure a successful implementation of the Company’s new cloud ERP. Here he gained experience in human capital resource systems (HCM’s) and built on his financial system ERP expertise.

Before this, he worked for Groupon Inc. in financial systems. His experience here included implementing NetSuite globally and building the system out post-implementation to optimize the system’s output. Projects included integrating payroll activities with payroll providers in order to allow for automated bookings, connecting the company’s business intelligence database to the ERP in order to create automated, daily revenue bookings, and many other reporting projects to facilitate internal and external reporting, including US GAAP financial reporting, local statutory reporting and VAT reporting.

Jesper started is career within accounting which allows him to quickly understand what accountants need and what kinds of daily burdens they face.
